Yesterday our 3rd grade artists got some special help from high school students, hot gluing their amazing 3D bugs! Love seeing creativity and collaboration across grades!
Our third grade class was able to spend an hour with the conductor of the Dubuque Symphony Orchestra, Maestro Intrilligator! We learned what it's like to conduct an orchestra and heard the wonderful sounds of the oboe. We're very excited for our concert trip later this month!
We are excited to share that Second Chance Coffee is generously supporting the Shullsburg Music Department! Every Friday in November, 20% of all espresso drink sales will be donated to the Shullsburg Music Department! We are so grateful for this partnership and the commitment to keeping the arts strong in our community!
Join our junior high school band on December 5 at 7:00 PM as we play the national anthem for this Dubuque Fighting Saints game! $5 of every ticket purchase returns back to our music program. Our students will be located in the Offensive Zone of the arena.

Last week the 4K classes enjoyed some Halloween Fun!!
The Shullsburg–Belmont Cross Country team recently concluded a successful season.
This year, two runners earned Second Team All-Conference honors — Talan Apodaca and Stefano Karavergos.
Elliott Searles and Cassidy Brania were selected to the Conference Sportsmanship Team.

Things got a little bloody in anatomy & physiology today! Students created fake wounds to wrap up our unit on tissues. (Caution: fake blood ahead!)
The 5th grade class spent Halloween morning exploring local history at Saint Matthews Cemetery. Thanks to Cory Ritterbusch for teaching our students about the remarkable individuals who helped shape our town!
Spooky season meets craftsmanship! Our woodworking students built Halloween-themed jack-o’-lantern boxes that glow with talent!
