8th Grade Promotion is May 22.
The Miners celebrated our Seniors and HS Academic Achievements on April 26 with a slightly competitive yet fun filled assembly. The seniors kicked off the event by facing off in teams and sharing their knowledge of high school and future colleges. Students who earned academic awards this year received recognition and are pictured in groups: Level 1 Academic Letter, Level 2 Lamp of Learning Pin, Level 3 Academic Medallion, and Level 4 Academic Plaque.

Baseball Update
Game postponed. Shullsburg/Benton vs. Argyle/Black Hawk baseball game at Benton has been rescheduled to May 21 at 4:30.
We had our National Honor Society induction ceremony at the Visitors Center, honoring new 2023-2024 inductees Kameryn Corley, Liam McGovern-Stierman, Parker Mullen, Neal Mullikin, and Emory Reichling. We also honored our 2022-2023 inductees, as due to unforeseen circumstances, we were unable to hold an induction ceremony last year. Those students are: Evvie Ennis, Owen Fennell, Stella Spillane, Peyton Timmerman, Jessica Trinidad, and Allie Walker. Congratulations!

Art Club & 5th Grade students went on a field trip to the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art this week.
We are in need of substitute teachers for next year! Individuals with an associate degree or higher can become substitute teachers in WI. Certified substitute teacher training registration is open on the Schedule of Events page on the CESA 3 website. https://www.cesa3.org/
3rd graders making ice cream, an old-fashioned way, by rolling the ingredients in a coffee can. They were amazed and pleasantly surprised at how great it tasted.
